The Cognex DM290 stationary Barcode Reader is an industrial precision barcode reading device with a resolution of 1.6 MP and a global shutter. Thanks to its Mini Light illumination and 16 mm focal length lens, it guarantees high quality scanning, even in difficult conditions. The semi-polarised aperture improves the visibility of codes on reflective surfaces, which increases decoding efficiency. Algorithms based on artificial intelligence enable the reading of damaged or low-quality codes.

The reader supports serial, Ethernet and USB-C interfaces, and its compatibility with TCP/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP protocols allows easy integration into automation systems. An IP67 rating ensures resistance to industrial conditions, and an operating temperature range of 0 to 70°C allows reliable operation in a variety of environments.
